THERAPIES - Ozone
WHAT IS OZONE?
Ozone is a form of oxygen with three oxygen molecules (03) instead
of the usual two (02). As a molecule containing a large excess
of energy, ozone manifests bactericidal, viricidal, fungicidal and
protozoacidal actions which makes it a treatment of choice in certain
conditions and an adjunctive treatment in others.
HOW IS IT PRODUCED?
Ozone is produced by flowing pure medical grade oxygen through
a high voltage field.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Although ozone was primarily thought of as a potent germicide and
disinfectant, it is also recognized as a potent immunostimulant.
Ozone seems to be effective against diseases for which oxygen is
not processed well. Most microorganisms in the body are anaerobic,
as are cancer cells, so they cannot process oxygen or the products
of oxidation as well as normal body cells. Since ozone is a particularly
active high-energy form of oxygen, it is most effective. Ozone can
modify the properties of red blood cells and improve the oxygenation
and circulation of ischemic tissues. Ozone also has the ability
to neutralize free radicals and other toxins in the body.

WHAT CAN IT TREAT?
Due to its broad spectrum of effects in the body, ozone can be
used to treat a whole galaxy of conditions, including:
Infectious diseases - any diseases caused by viruses or
other microorganisms, gangrene, HIV, Herpes and Hepatitis.
Circulatory diseases - stroke, peripheral vascular diseases,
dementia, arrhythmias.
Immune disorders - MS, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes
type II, environmental sensitivities.
Diseases of multiple etiologies - cancer, AIDS, fibromyalgia
and Colitis
HOW IS IT ADMINISTERED?
Ozone can be administered in a variety of ways. It can be applied
directly for local superficial infections such as ulcers, abscesses,
and fistulae, or administered for a systemic effect.
Three main ways of administering ozone for a systemic effect are
by rectal insufflation, by IV major auto hemotherapy (where venous
blood is withdrawn into a container, injected with ozone and then
reinfused into the blood stream), or by body bag or cup over an
ulcer or wound.
IS IT SAFE?
Ozone is extremely safe; it leaves no residue except oxygen and
has no adverse effects or toxicity in humans. However, breathing
ozone will cause irritation in the respiratory tract and should
be avoided. Ozone is most widely used to purify water because it
has the ability to neutralize many toxic compounds.
