What is Prognos Testing?
The Prognos was originally developed for Russian astronauts to monitor their health in outer space. The Prognos measures the meridians at acupuncture points at the ends of the fingers and toes. Each meridian is related to an organ and is therefore a measurement of the energetic state of that organ. In addition to testing organs, various disease causing factors can be tested to determine the underlying causes of disease or illness. Finally remedies can be tested for treating the patient based on the Prognos diagnosis.
What Can Prognos Test For?
In addition to organs and the systems they function in such as the digestive system or the respiratory system; we can determine what disease causing factors are impacting the body. Is it painful? No!
The process is completely painless. The patient simply sits in a chair while the points on all the fingers and toes are measured. The touch is very light and so the point is not at all traumatized which contributes to the reproducibility of the measurements and the accuracy for which this instrument is renowned.
Scheduling Visits
The first testing takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow up visits are usually somewhat shorter. The number of visits depends on the patient. It is a process of peeling layers of health history away one at a time.
